Greetings: I am using Parallels 7 and I can't find the option "do not minimize windows to dock". In Coherence mode, when windows app is minimized it lands in Mac Dock. I want it to see the minimized windows on the windows task bar only. Using MAC OS LION 10.7.1, WINDOWS 7 X64. Thanks, Sam
In coherence mode the usual setup is not to show the toolbar, therefore if the Windows applications that were running did not show on the dock they would be hard to select if minimized, etc. I do not know if there is a way to keep the Windows task bar visible in Coherence, and if not there likely is no way to turn off the applications appearing on the dock. There is the opposite feature, you can turn make Windows applications appear on the dock for modes in addition to coherence (uncheck Options/Applications/Show Dock Icons in Coherence only). If this is checked then you can select Window, Full Screen or Modality and in those modes Windows apps will not appear on the dock.
