Migrating from one mac to another

    I used Time Machine to move all my files from one mac to another and now Parallels 6 wants me to reinstall Windows or load a disk image.

    Can someone point me to the files I need to link or transfer over from my old computer so I can be back to where I was with the first computer on this new one?

    Or, must I back up my Windows-based files, reinstall windows 7 and kaspersky on this new machine?

    All you need is the .pvm file, by default located in ~/Documents/Parallels.

    Parallels should detect it when you start the program if it's in the right location on the new machine.

    Steve, Parallels couldn't find it on its own, but when I double clicked on the pvm file it brought up Parallels and is now launching Windows 7.

    Thank you SO MUCH! I'm good to go now.
