Free Upgrade? When should I expect it?

    I recently purchased Parallels 6 on 8/15/11 on parallels.com. I understand that there is no need for me to reach out to Parallels to request the free activation key for 7, that it will be emailed to me eventually. Has anyone in my situation received that email yet?

    Free upgrade

    Hello,

    Free upgrade activation keys for Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac will be automatically sent to our online customers within 7 days from the release date, which is September 6.

    Thanks for the info. Do you know if it's a gradual roll out or will they drop it at the same time for all those waiting for it?

    They are sent gradually within the 7 days I mentioned, not all at one time.

    Is there a way for me to check if it has already been sent to me? I haven't yet seen it come through and it has been 7 days.

    I too have not received the promised email..Are they getting out there for some?
    Has there been a delay?

    I'll let you know when I get my email if it ever comes! I'm hearing great things about the new version, can't wait to try it out.

    I too was promised and never recieved

    I contacted the support team to try to resolve this last week and was simply told within 6-8 days. Still nothing. I would not have bought 6 if I had known they wouldn't hold up their end of the deal. Oh and get this they have the time to send me a customer support survey! But not the upgrade key. What a crock. I'm reporting to the BBB

    Recieved After Phone Call

    A lengthy phone call and severe frustration and I finally received. Some said you had to fill out a form and other said just wait two more days. Glad to get this resolved. New features are Lion like awesomness

    I'm going to call them. I have yet to see the email and I'd love to check out the Lion like awesomeness.
