I installed Windows 7 in Parallels 5 in december. The first thing I tried was DVDFab and it worked very well. Two weeks later I wanted to use it again but from that time on I never succeeded in reading a dvd into that software anymore. I thought of an issue with some other software installed, so I installed a fresh XP machine - with the same result. Some dvds get me massive errors, most dvds get stuck from the first point of reading. Even the two dvds I tried in the beginning do not process any more. I do not think that I have modified a relevant setting in the configuration. But there is some thing I think is different now: Normally, DVDFab shows the DVD-Drive in the "source"-window right from the beginning. On my machines, this entry is empty and I have to select the drive manually. Can someone help me with getting this software back to working again? Norman
Never mind, I found out for myself. It does not work properly if you mount your dvd-drive when windows is running. The drive must be mounted before booting the machine.
