    Hi,

Upgrading from Parallels 6 to 7.
I am running Lion and Windows 7.

The upgrade was going fine and it got down to saying one minute left on the install screen and then it appeared to freeze except the time left keep going up left to install (currently now up to 26 minutes left).

What's going on and what should I do if this continues as I don't want to corrupt my virtual machine!!

    Most probably download was corrupted.
It would be great if you send me /var/log/install.log file.

    Please try to uninstall/install.
If it doesn't help - try to download installation image again and reinstall (I have sent you a link in the private message http://forum.parallels.com/private.php)

Your virtual machines could not be corrupted by Parallels Desktop installation. They are safe.

    Maybe not!

I had the same install problem - 'running package scripts' got to 16 mins before force quit (uninstalled twice).

I now see that Parallers Desktop V7 is in the application folder, and it starts! Apparently uninstall doesn't do anything. It doesn't uninstall.
