How do I stop Parallels from asking if I want to change to Crystal?

Okay, I've decided I really like having my Windows view in a window. It's more organized for me. I do not want to switch to Crystal or Coherence. Since I have changed to Window, every time I turn on Parallels, it asks me if I want to change to Crystal. No, I do not.

How do I stop it from asking?

I have the same problem. I ONLY want to run MSwindows in a separate window with smaller screen. Each time I go back to MSWindows, I have to change the view and I often have to change the screen size (resolution) as well. How do we keep our settings? i.e. keep coherence OFF. By the way , I checked 'window' in the startup menu. Thanks

    Same problem!!

I'm having the same issue, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it stop! I like having Windows in its own window! I get this question every time I open Parallels 5!

Why would I want to spend the money to upgrade to Parallels 6 if it can't even be bothered to fix this problem in the first place or even answer the question???

    I have the solution!

I figured it out, all by myself.

With Parallels open, under Virtual machine, click the bottom link, "Configure," or click the "Configure" icon at the top of your Windows window.

    Click "Options."

Choose the view you want in "Startup View." (Is this where you were before, Earl?)

In "View," make sure the view you want is also checked. Apparently they don't pay attention to each other.

    Et voilá. No more harassment.

Hey, Parallels, thanks for helping us out with that. :-/

As I mentioned, I figured it out already and posted the solution.
