Kernel Panics non-stop

I am running the latest MacBook Air (4 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, 2.04 GHz) with the latest build of Mac OS X (10.6) and the latest build of Parallels Desktop 6 with Windows 7 64-bit installed. I have tried this now on two identical MacBook Air machines (same configuration). Whenever Parallels Desktop is running Windows 7 my computer will intermittently:

A) Freeze up and I cannot move my mouse, or have the computer recognize a keystroke, thus resulting in me having to shut down the computer by holding down the power button.

B) Experience a Kernel Panic on the Mac OS X side again rendering my computer useless and forcing me to shut down by holding down the power button.

I reiterate that this has happened to me multiple times on two MacBook Airs (each clean installs). There is something going on with Parallels and the new MacBook Airs. I have copy/pasted the last two kernel panics into PDF documents and will paste them in as separate posts below. Perhaps someone can help me, please? I am 95% positive I'm going to have to switch to Boot Camp.

Do you have VMWare Fusion installed on it by any chance? If so, uninstall it. I was getting kernel panics left and right when I had both installed (even though I wasn't using Fusion - it just came over through Migration Assistant). I uninstalled it and went nearly 2 months without a kernel panic until today. The issue today I think related to Internet Explorer, FireFox for Mac, and Safari for Mac running at the same time.

I'm not sure if it is my MacBook Air, Parallels, or some combination. I also have the late 2010 2.13GHz 13" model with 4GB.

Thank you for responding. I don't believe I have VMWare Fusion installed... This was a BRAND NEW/Clean Install MacBook Air with only Parallels 6 and Windows 7 and Office 2010 installed on it.

I'm thinking it's a MacBook Air problem as we both are encountering this problem and we both are running a MacBook Air? But that just may be a coincidence.

Can someone from Parallels please respond with some guidance?

it shouldn't be necessary, but have you tried disabling hypervisor support in the VM?

I did indeed try this and am still experiencing kernel panics and/or freezing on a daily basis.

My system will freeze or the graphics will start doing very strange things. I am running parallels 6 current version with WinXp on an early 2009 iMac. This start before Lion, but with one of the Parallels upgrades.

I have tried everything I can think of and every time I get a crash report, I send it to Apple. Apple support says to take the computer to the Apple store and have them run diagnostics on the hardware. I have done the hardware test and it shows everything is fine.

I have worked with computers for a long time and this isn't typical of a hardware error. I have replaced memory, upgraded to 8GB, reformatted the hard drive and done a clean install of Lion, done a clean install of Parallels and all the other software...what a time consuming process...and I still get crashes several times a day.

Will the new version of Parallels work better? Is this a way to force us to upgrade or will it be worse? I am almost afraid to try.
