I keep getting random kernel panics since upgrading to Lion. Yeah, I did the update, but it was happening even before that. Started as soon as I upgraded from Snow Leopard.
The numbers are confusing. I had no problems under Snow Leopard. The problems began after upgrading to Lion and persisted after I ran the small update that Apple released for Lion. I'm not at my computer now, so I don't remember if it was 10.7.1 or 10.7.2.
This is still happening, even after contacting support. Has anyone else resolved the problem? My business depends on Windows, so I absolutely must have it in order to do any work at all. Today it took 5 launches before it finally started up. I am starting to panic myself, no pun intended.
As I noted in another thread, upgrading to Parallels Desktop 7 fixed the problem. Not the optimal solution (which would have been for Parallels to fix it urgently, since it was a major bug), but it worked for me.
