For some months I have been running Parallels from a BootCamp partition but now I want to remove the partition to reclaim hard disk space and run Windows XP just through Parallels. I exported my BootCamp system through Transporter agent to a USB disk attached to the Mac. I was able to run the pvm through parallels but wanted to test it for a few days before deleting the BootCamp partition and then transferring the pvm to the Mac internal drive. I don't know what has happened but after two or three restarts the pvm refuses to mount - message says NTLDR is missing. I have found various posts giving advice on repairing this from Windows system disk but I am not confident I can do this - I don't really understand Windows and hate it - I only use it to run an SQL database which handles my accounts. I intend to re-export the BootCamp system and start again, but before I do so would like some advice as to what has/might have happened here. I don't want to delete the Bootcamp partition and discover that transferring the pvm has somehow damaged it. Any ideas? Thanks
Solution found ? Hi, did you find a solution ? I want to do the same and I am looking for a how-to. Best Boris
