Not sure if this behaviour changed in a recent release, but I'm sure it used to be possible when running in full screen mode to move the cursor to top of the display and have the OS X menubar automatically display. I can get it to display using ctrl+alt, but I prefer the other way.

Is there any way to add/restore this functionality? A search in the forums turns up requests for an option to 'always display the OS X menubar in full screen mode'. This would also be useful, but I'd like it to 'autohide' as does the Windows task bar.

    Cheers

To add to this (or put it another way) I'd like Parallels to behave like other Lion 'fullscreen' apps, in which the menubar appears when you hover near mouse at top of the screen.

I can nearly get there by creating another desktop and assigning Parallels to open there, then putting parallels into fullscreen mode. I just hate having to hit keys to access the menubar.

    Anyone else?
