Today I upgraded to mac os x lion and when I open parallels desktop it asks me to enable hardware virtualisation support on my MacBook pro so that I can run windows xp as a virtual machine. I have searched the net and cannot find a way to access the bios to enable this feature, please could I have some support and advise on how to enable the VT. I did have any problems whilst I was on os x snow leopard and parallels used to work fine. Thanks in advance.
Virtualization Support I had the same problem after loading Lion on my late 2008 MacBook Pro. Make sure you are on Parallels Desktop 6 and have the latest build 12094. While I was on Desktop 6, I was not on the latest build. After upgrading to the latest build everything is working fine and the error notices relating to virtualization being enabled disappeared. HTH, Howard
I had the same problem after installing Mac Lion but I downloaded the update and that solved the problem.
