Windows 7 still stealing focus Annoying problem mentioned in the forums but haven't found a solution: Setup: MacBook, OS 10.6.6. Parallels 6.0.11992 Windows 7 Coherence mode When Office is open in windows, it will steal focus from Mac applications. If I have two browser windows open on the mac, the Office applications will randomly pop in front of the browser window that I am not working on. The Office application will not pop up in front of a browser window that I am focused on. I saw a note about "bringing notifications to front", but that seems like an older setting that isn't in Parallels 6.0
Having similar issue w Parallels 5 Although this is the least of my problems--more concerned about crashes of Safari especially & whole mac that I have been told are likely related to running Windows on a Mac especially as VM--I have had similar issues that I kind of wondered about. Running Parallels 5, build9344. windows 7 installed in Bootcamp as VM (Outlook 2007 & a few other things like IE, Firefox, Open Office & co software also installed in Bootcamp) on a MacBookPro. Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro7,1 Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz I have noticed that when I'm working on the Mac side with Outlook open that it often tends to pop up to the front over what I am working in such as maybe Pages or Safari. I haven't paid that much attention to it since I have the much more serious issues of the apparent mac instability related to apparently Parallels. So while modestly annoying, its not that hard to just click back to what I was working on.
