    Hi,

I have a Mac Pro Quad-Core Intel Xeon 3.2 GHz with OSX 10.6.6, I'm running Parallels Desktop Build 6.0.11994 and Parallels Tools are installed.

The keyboard is a USB Apple keyboard, connected directly to the USB port in the computer. The mouse is a wireless Evoluent VerticalMouse 3, again the USB Wireless stick is directly connected to the computer.

I've installed both Windows 7 and XP and I'm getting the same issues. From the time when I installed both operating systems, I noticed both the keyboard and mouse did not function when in the Windows window, I had to click the USB Controller Icon down the bottom and check both the Apple Keyboard and Evoluent mouse to have functionality to install Windows. Furthermore, I could not exit the mouse by hitting Ctrl+Alt so I had to use my Wacom pen and tablet to click the USB Controller Icon again down the bottom and uncheck both the Apple Keyboard and Evoluent mouse to have functionality in OS X.

After getting both Windows 7 and XP up and running, the same problem still exists, only now it's worse. When I check both the keyboard and mouse to control Windows, there is no mouse pointer, even though Windows has control and OS X does not. The mouse seems to be their bit no pointer, so you have to guess where it is and then click, I know it's there because when I hover over icons etc. I see it light up. There is still no way to release it from Windows with Ctrl+Alt, so I have to release it with my Wacon pen. The same thing happens if I reverse it i.e. switch the Wacom instead of the mouse.

I've installed the same on my MacBook Pro and all works fine.

Your help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I will try, but my problem is with the trackpad, not with the keyboard.

It works perfectly. Even if I had the FV disabled.

    Thanks
