I've downloaded and purchased Parallels and I want to purchase and download Windows 7, but I notice that Parallels asks for a disc to install the windows OS. Is there a way to install a legally purchased Windows 7 downloaded version?

    Thanks for any help

The best and safest advice I can give you on getting Windows 7 is that you purchase it directly from Microsoft or go into a licensed retailer of Windows 7 and purchase it yourself. Hope that helps!

    Kryptonboy,

Yes, you may install a Windows virtual machine both usind disk or .ISO image. In New virtual machine assistant you have several options to install from: Real CD/DVD drive or disk images. Having a valid Windows 7 license key is more than enough - just download a Windows 7 .iso image and install Windows 7 using this image file.
