Win7 Multiple Display Configuration

Hi,

I have Parallels 6 running Win7 on a MackBook Pro.
I have enabled the Parallels "Use all displays in full screen" option and Win7 successfully detects the external monitor when in full screen mode.

The physical size/positioning of laptop and the external screen are different (the top of the 15" laptop screen is only physically about half-way up the side of the external 22" screen)... consequently, when I move the mouse cursor from the top of one screen to the other, it "physically" jumps about 8" upwards.... which is quite annoying/bothersome from a usability perspective.

I know that Windows has the ability to adjust the relative positioning of the external screen (i.e. left or right of the primary display; and their relative vertical positioning offset), so that the mouse cursor "physically" remains at the same level when mousing between different sized/positioned screens; however this setting doesn't seem to be taken account by parallels?

Is there another setting/configuration I should be looking at? Has any one experienced the same issue?

Hi Eric,

in the Mac OS X system settings you can determine the exact position of both displays by dragging the two reactangles symbolizing the two displays around. As far as I experienced this setting applies to Parallels in full screen mode as well. Not quite sure though ...
