I paid $30 in advance for technical support yet when I call the number, I get a message that they are busy, leave a number and they will call me back. Unfortunatly, they have my $$ and haven't called back for 3 days even though i have called and emailed at least 6 times.

My issue is that i had to uninstall and then reinstall Parallels Desktop for Mac. The install did not remove all parts of the software, so I searched using Spotlight and deleted the rest. Then I tried to reinstall the software and during the "enter the activation code" process, it did not recognize the code.

I paid for the software and for the support call, yet have not been able to take advantage of each.

I would appreciate any help on the issues. Thank you!

did you buy the box version or online ? are you installing the same version or one of the betas from this forum ? did you make sure you deleted /Library/Parallels ?

If you bought a boxed version from a shop, you cannot use the activation code you have, with any of the beta or RC releases form this forum. This is outlined in the FAQ.

I bought the box from the Apple store and used the code on the original install, used the Parallels uninstall and then deleted any Parallels info i found using Spotlight. During the install process, i get a response that the activation code is not valid. Any ideas? Thank you

The Parallels VERSION might be helpful!

Hopefully, you are trying to install the same version. If not, there may be several answers. What Parallels build came out of the box? What build are you installing? What country are you in (yes, it matters)? What Mac do you have? What processor? How much installed RAM?
