I recently installed build 3150 on my MBP (Core 2 Duo). Everything seemed to be working fine, until I realized my iSight no longer functioned. I didn't even connect the two events until I happened on some of the threads here relating the same problem. I've shutdown, reset the PRAM, uninstalled Parallels, booted from a pristine OS on an external drive - nothing works. Just so happens I have another MBP that is identical to this one (used as a test machine) that was imaged prior to 3150. It booted, iSight ran fine in Photo Booth, etc. I installed 3150 on it and updated the Parallel tools in the WIn XP (non-bootcamp) image. After a reboot, the iSight was gone and can't be made to return. Doesn't even show up in the System Profiler in the USB section. I seem to be the only one who hasn't got their iSight back by resetting the PRAM. Anyone else out there still having problems? Anything else I can try?
do you have USB autoconnect on ? might be worth a look. Ive seen a couple of others describe this same issue.. do a search for isight in this forum.
