    Hello Parallels Community:

Sorry if this is an obvious question: I want to verify that I can successfully install/run Parallels "Desktop" on an Apple XServe (Mac OSX 10.6.x Server). The server version of Parallels is quite expensive and I just want to run a client Win XP VM. (I need to run a relatively basic app in the Windows XP VM; so I don't need all the "server" stuff).

If anyone has done this, I would like to find out how it worked.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

I have the same situation - production 64-bit OSX server v10.6.6 and need to run a single windows app. I have an unused PD v5 license that I'd like to use for this - my concern is server stability and compatibility of PD5's kernel modules with the 64-bit OSX kernel (my other PD installs have all been with 32-bit kernels).

    Is this a supported configuration?

Thanks for the quick reply! I actually did find other threads that suggest it should not only work, but be stable, so I'm going to give it a shot.
