I would like to run identical VMs on my Mac Pro and my MacBook Pro and am considering using Dropbox (a paid account naturally due to space) to keep the VM synced between the two. Has anybody done this? The VM would be running on only one computer at a time, allowing DB to sync the VM before switching computers. Any ideas?
It would be ok, but every time you start the VM it would change it's hardware (processor for example). And if you use windows - it would be non genuine, because of VM copy. I'm not sure, but it may be fixed with reactivation.
