My hard drive crashed and I had to reinstall from scratch to another hard drive. Mac is up and running, but when I double click on the Parallels image, it will not start or even import.

What do I do? Please help ASAP.

    Thank you!!

    Hi

First of all try to reinstall Parallels Desktop.
And ask some questions, if installation will have no effect:
    - Does Parallels Desktop start normally (VM list appears, etc.)?
    - VM is presents in VM list?

I reinstalled it, however, when I double click on the Parallels image, it wants to go through install of a new image. In addition, when I try to import, it would not take it either.

Could you please generate a problem report (Help->Report a problem)?

How? It will not open the image?

Does Parallels Desktop start through /Applications? (without clicking by VM image)

Actually, I think I finally fixed it. I installed Windows again and then replaced the new Parallels image with the old one. Seems to be working.
