I just upgraded to build 3150 RC2. My primary image is Windows XP SP2, using Office apps. Running on a Mac Book Pro with 2 GB of RAM.

A few months back, I added an external monitor for use in my office. I run my Parallels with my Windows XP SP2 image in full screen mode on the external monitor and I leave the Mac desktop visible on the MBP's built in display.

Ever since I added the monitor, which was back on the last fully released version (3196?), I've had a problem where the mouse in Windows is always on change behind. Meaning, as the mouse pointer transitions from one state to another, it seems to end up one transition behind. This is particularly noticeable as I edit in Office apps, which hide the mouse pointer while editing.

Clicking the mouse seems to make it "catch up", but that is problematic and, at times, risky, since I might click on something I didn't want.

I've complained about this a couple of times and haven't heard anything back. I'd appreciate feedback on this issue. Otherwise, Parallels has been great for me -- fix this and I'd be in awesome shape.

    New repro data

I changed desktop configuration and the problem went away.

In the original config, I still kept the Mac OS menu bar on the laptop and ran the Parallels/Windows XP window on the second monitor. That's when the mouse pointer behavior was messed up.

When I moved the menu bar to the second monitor, so the full screen Parallels/Windows XP window is on the same monitor as the menu bar, the mouse pointer works as expected.

So the problem still exists, but I've mitigated the issue by reconfiguring the desktop.
