I assume this will be fixed before it goes gold, but a search didn't return many other posts about this issue, so .. here's mine. =) my stuff: Macbook 13", Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz, 2G Ram, OSX 10.4.8 Current Parallels build: 3150 Host OS: Windows XP, latest patches Macbook resolution: 1280x800 WinXP Resolution: I manually set it to 1280x800, but it autoresets itself to 1268x697 (I have the 1280x800 custom resolution enabled for this VM, and it shows up as an option in the resolution slider bar in winxp, but it still resets itself to 1268x697) Pressing Alt-Enter to go full screen gives me a full screen of the host OS for 1 or 2 seconds, then it dumps me back to the mac desktop, and parallels is no longer running. I notice that my mac desktop icons aren't moved around, so it seems to be switching to 1280x800 properly before it crashes. Then, a few moments later, a dialog pops up asking if I'd like to restart the program or view a crash report. If I choose to restart this way, it always pops up a new VM/OS install dialog, instead of prompting me to choose which existing VM I want to start. I'm not sure if this is the intended behavior after a crash or not, but... =) I noticed similar crashes with RC1/3120. Anything else you need to know, or need me to attempt? Either way, not being able to run my host OSs in full screen mode severely limits the usefulness of this program for me. This also happens in my windows 98 VM, which I made from scratch with build 3150, so I don't think it's a problem with VMs created from previous versions of parallels. I can only assume it will happen for any VM I run, but since I only have these two, I can't verify that. =) Can I go back to the latest official release (1920 or whatever it is?) without recreating my VMs or are they not backwards compatible, now that I've been using them with the beta/RC releases?
I am experiencing the same issue with 3150 and had it in 3120 too. Yes Parallels tools is installed. Provided crash reports to [email protected] (Tim Surgent) 17" MBP Core Duo / 2.16Ghz / 2GB Mem / TW
