Every time I try to cold boot or return from suspend Parallels just freezes up. The only solution is to reboot. After reboot it works once, but if I try to open parallels after closing it it gets stuck again. I am running the latest build of parallels 6.0.11828 with Windows 7.
To explain it better. I have Win 7 inside of parallels for MAC on Leopard. When I launch it, it seems to boot for a few seconds, but then just gets totally stuck. Same thing to coming back from suspend. I have even disabled all the application and file sharing thinking it might be the issue, but no success. In suspend it goes to about 80% and gets stuck right before it usually made the wha wha sound of CD rom test (like what happened when you open the lid in macbook). Anyone have any solutions?
Hello, YuriyS! The last PD6 build is 6.0.11990. I recommend you to update. I've understand your problem, but could not suggest any solution yet. Could you please send and post a problem report ID here (http://kb.parallels.com/en/9058)? Right after Parallels stuck. It will give us more info to take into account. Thank you!
Just updated to the latest build, same problem. I generated a problem report with this ID 7269949, hopefully this can get resolved. Am running it on MacBook 2,1.
Thank you, YuriyS! Please, check your private messages, I've sent you info about further investigation of your issue.
