For some reason today, Parallels decided that it didn't want to let me cut and paste. I also can't update parallels even though it told me that it is registered. Doesn't make any sense and it is making me mad. Some fix this. I'm using build 5600, Parallels 3.0.
Please restart Virtual Machine. as for update Please download build 5608 following link bellow: http://download.parallels.com/v3/en/GA/Parallels-Desktop-5608-Mac-en.dmg and reinstall Parallels Desktop as described in kb http://kb.parallels.com/en/4790
Still not working ... All of John@Parallels's directions followed to a T, by "Genius" at the Bar (the Apple bar, to be clear) ... and still I can not cut and paste between Mac/Windows. It seems that when an update occurred recently, this feature stopped working ~ as only months ago, it DID work. Please, how I resolve. The Genius told me to assure you, the directions posted here were followed implicitly. Thank you! (an Easy Fix would be nice) Linda
Please reinstall Parallels Tools as described bellow To reinstall Parallels Tools, do the following: 1. Launch your Windows XP guest OS. 2. Open Add/Remove programs control panel in Windows and remove Parallels Tools if present. 3. Reboot Windows XP guest OS. 4. Install Parallels Tools using "Install Parallels Tools" menu item in the Action menu of the Parallels Desktop application. 5. Reboot Windows.
Build 6.0.11828, Rev. 615184 I have reinstalled Parallels Tools and rebooted and I still can no longer cut and paste between Mac and the VM. And yes, it worked flawlessly prior to the most recent upgrade. Can you provide a fix for this?
