I am hoping someone can help me with the following problem.

I have a MacBook and am currently running Vista on Parallels (Build 3150 RC2). I have also installed Office 2007. All the programs work well except for Outlook 2007. When I try to start the program it always takes me to the same spot where I was entering the information for my office's exchange server address and I get the following message: Cannot open you default e-mail folders. The file C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.ost is not an offline folder file. Then the program simply shuts down.

Anybody have a similar problem ? Any ideas ?

    Thanks

Yeah. Have this on previous installations of Outlook (not just 2007) whereby it's a bit of a battle to get the wizard to "find" the Exchange server given the details you first supply.

The answer is to not worry about going in to Outlook, but go into the Control Panel and look for the Mail icon. Open that and it will give you the chance to change the Email Accounts, Mail Profiles, Data File Locations etc.

Once you've made all the necessary changes, you can then open Outlook and all should be well.

    Hope that helps! :)
