Problem - Error message

I have installed and used Parallels on my mac but now I keel getting the following error message:

Virtual machine cannot be started because of the following problem:

Parallels Desktop is unable to access the virtual hard disk image file /Users/sunilpatel/Documents/Parallels/Microsoft Windows XP/winxp.hdd. The file is used by other application.

Could you please post an output of following command in terminal (Applications/Utilities/Terminal):

Problem report ID also will be helpful. (At the moment when the message appears - Parallels Desktop - Help - Report a Problem... copy ID here)

 

Hi Alev, than you for your reply but I'm not sure I understand? I posted the message that I received...

There is no report ID as parallels doen't launch.

Hi,

To generate Problem Report you doesn't need to start VM.
In PD6 you could send it even when you are facing error messages.

I am also beg you to write here an output of command that I have stated in my previous message in this topic. (just write it in Terminal window from /Application/Utilities/ press Enter, enter password if you are asked for)
