I uninstalled Parallels Desktop 6 11822 ... and I still see the icon on some files which belong to windows. I also get options to open files using windows XP when I click on 'open with'. My bootcamp HD will not mount again and I cannot see it in 'Devices'. Please help me remove this software from my computer and helop me regain my drive again., Thanks.
Look for Windows Applications folders in ~/Applications and /Applications and delete them. However, they are not causing your Boot Camp partition to be unmountable. Are you still able to boot your Mac into Windows using the Boot Camp partition? Have you verified that the gpt and mbr partition maps are in sync?
