Ugly Windows icons

Hi im trying out parallels after using VM Ware the problem i'm having is maybe cosmetic but it really is annoying. All my runing Windows programs have these two ugly red lines on them I guess they are the parrallels logo, is there a way to turn them off?

They are really distracting and make my desktop look really ugly.

 

There is no way to turn off the Parallels Windows app and document icon badge. I suppose it's possible for someone to write a utility to make better icons but you would need to run the utility every time Parallels recreates the Windows application folder.

The Parallels icon badge could be made more subtle like the Finder alias or lock icon badges. The relative size of the Finder icon badges increases for 32x32 sized icons and increases even more for 16x16 sized icons so that the icon badges remain recognizable at smaller sizes. Parallels will need to do the same for 16x16 and 32x32 sized icons.
