Ubuntu 10.10 installed (express option) in a flash and like a dream. But the Parallels Tools installation failed. Install error log attached. Any ideas, folks?

Parallels Support has responded: No indication as to when Ubuntu 10.10 might be supported.

Thank you for contacting Parallels Technical Support.

As from the information provided I understand that you are facing an issue with the installation of Parallels Tools in Ubuntu 10.10 version. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I am afraid that the Ubuntu 10.10 version is not supported in Parallels Desktop( for now). Please refer the below link to know more on the supported Guest Operating Systems:

Please feel free to contact us for any further assistance. We will be happy to help you further.

    Thanks,

Parallels Tools now available for Ubuntu 10.10

They are included in the latest software update that I downloaded and installed yesterday.
