I have upgrade from 5 to 6 and one of my VMs doesn't work with 6.

I have been upgrading parallels from 3. Is it possible to downgrade from 6 to 5, get the data from the VM then upgrade back to 6?

My concerns are that as I have upgraded from version 3, so will I have to install 3, 4 and 5, which will take a while. What are the chances of the VM coming back on line one's I have Parallels 5 installed? Is there an easier way to get the data out of the VM?

It is a fedora based VM (AMP WDS 3.0), the only problem is the lack of network support in parallels 6. I have tried to convert it to a virtualbox VM and but it's not working.

Do I have any other options to get the data out of the VM?

I believe each "upgrade" is, in reality, a full install that deletes the old version and installs the new. It;s not a case of the new upgrade only adding new files it needs and keep the old files it doesn't need. If this, indeed is the case, simply uninstall 6 and reinstall 5. The VM remains untouched and usable in either version.

If I'm mistaken about this, someone please correct me. I believe the above is true as I started with v5, went to v6, and then, after having keyboard problems with 6, reverted back to v5.
