Quickbooks Pro 2010 Installation Fail: Parallels 5, Windows XP, Macbook Pro Only

Hi,

I have Parallels Desktop 5 running with Windows XP on the following 3 computers:

iMac 2GHZ Intel Core Duo
Macbook Pro 2.53GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo
Macbook Pro 2.66 GHZ Intel Core i7

All have Mac OS X 10.6.4

I downloaded Quickbooks 2010 Pro to the desktop through Internet Explorer on Parallels. I was able to successfully install it on the iMac but I cannot install Quickbooks on either Macbook Pro.

Both get error messages. Intuit and Apple will not help me. Any suggestions?

I'm getting the exact same error, would love to hear if there are any solutions

 

Fixed

was able to install after running the windows update tool after installing xp, was stock sp2, guess it needed some updating
