A financial app (Interprise http://www.interprisesolutions.com/) seems to have all mouse and keyboard events blocked. By that I mean that after working fine for some period it appears to freeze. I think, however, that it is more a mouse/keyboard event issue. It has to be killed with task manager, but it responds to the shutdown requests which leads me to believe that it is still running but I just can't communicate with it.

I have had the same problem appear occasionally on other apps, e.g. MS SQL Server Management Studio Express.

I have tried all the usual things,
    - Reinstall Parallel tools
    - Reinstall the app
    - Turn on and off graphics acceleration, hyper visor etc
    - increase and decrease resources (CPUs, memory)

Has anyone else seen this type of problem ?

What view mode do you use? (window, coherence, full screen, modality)
How you stop application if mose/keyboard events blocked?
When mose/keyboard events blocked in some application, does it still work in other application?
Does all mose/keyboard events blocked or just some of them?

Create and send problem report, post report id here.

This happens independent of the view mode.
The app has to be killed using task manager.
    Other applications are not effected.
All mouse and keyboard input is blocked from the effected app.

To be clear, the simple analysis would be that the app is locked. The only reason that I say that it appears that events are being blocked is that when I kill the app with task manager the app responds to the close event and pops up a confirmation dialog. Of course I have no way of clicking on it so have to kill the process anyway.

I have reported it: Parallels #1009620
