Question:
I am using MAC OS 10.6.4 on the latest MACBook Pro.
I am planning to buy Parallels 6 for MAC.
I also am planning to buy Microsoft Windows XP home Edition N.
(Edition N was released specifically for European union countries)
(I am also assuming that i can use the N edition in U.S.A here).
The XP cd that i am going to buy from online store says it's OEM .
Here is the third party site from where i am planning to buy the CD.
I want to know, if Parallels 6 will work with this XP Home N edition
on my MAC 10.6?
Anyone has used it before and any experiences or feedback?
I called Parallels support, but they didn't sound convincing. The answer
i got from them was that it may or may not work sometimes, if it's OEM.
(But i think what they think OEM is a pre-installed CD on my computer,
which hopefully is not the case with the CD i am going to buy online).
Any advice is appreciated as i am looking to buy the windows XP and Parallels
asap.
