Just upgraded to parallels 6 and saw kaspersky internet security which i installed from the menu and it says it on a 90 day trial. After contacting 'support' they told me parallels 6 no longer give free internet security for the windows

anyone can confirm this? No where does it say it is only a trial

Don't know about Kaspersky(?) or whatever was included, but Microsoft Security Essentials is completely free for Windows. It's also very highly regarded in terms of speed and detection. Free updates, no subscriptions, etc.

It says in the help files. Use the help menu and search for "Setting Up Virus Protection". It looks like the version 6 documents aren't up on the Parallels web site yet.

Google for "kaspersky site:download.parallels.com/desktop/v5/docs" results in the "Setting Up Parallels Internet Security" page which says it was only a free one year subscription in version 5.
