Cannot resize HDD - Image Tool wan't work

Hi,

i am running parallels Desktop V5 - Build 5.0.9344 on OSX 10.6.3 on my iMac i7.
I want to increase the sice of my HDD1 File, but fail to do so.

If I open the Image Tool, It takes about a minute, till the icon stops jumping - but the program is not visible then.
If I right klick on the dock-icon, I can only choose "quit now".

If I go to the VMs setup, I can choose the HDD and klick on the "change size" button.
But I then get the message, that there were snapshots... Needless to say, that I deleted all snapshots before doing so...

I searched the forum and it seems, there has been a simmulary error som time ago - but part of the workaround was using the image tool - which I am not able to...

Any help?

I just tried to compress the HDD file - but this also failed, because there should be snapshots.
But there aren't any...

I tried with another VM - same behaviour...

The problem still exists - even after the update to 5.0.9370

 

The following command will check if any of your virtual machines have Snapshots (if they are in the default folders):

OK, the Snapshot-folder exists in my VMs package - and there are some files in it:

So it seems, that there are some snapshoots for shure - but how to delete them?

I read, that the IMAGE TOOL would be the program to do that - but I am not able to start this.
The icon appears in the dock - but nothing else happens...

Another thing, which may help to solve my problem. The following entries appear in the console, if I open the image tools:

27.08.10 19:43:54 [0x0-0x11c11c].com.parallels.server.imagetool[10959] objc[10959]: Class QMacSoundDelegate is implemented in both /Library/Parallels/Parallels Service.app/Contents/MacOS/libQtGui.4.dylib and /usr/lib/libprl_sdk.dylib. One of the two will be used. Which one is undefined.
