I love Parallels 5.0 but for the unsightly and distracting red lines that are added to all icons attached to the Dock. Is there any way of removing these lines so that I can view the icons as normal in Coherence mode. After all, isn't that what Coherence is about, seamlessly joining Windows to Mac. Right now the Windows program icons stick out like a sore thumb. On this alone, I prefer Fusion to Parallels.

Does your icon look like this?

mine are constantly in a "paused" state, is that your problem too?

I've tried everything: pausing/unpausing, stoping/starting, rebooting snow leopard, quitting/restarting parallels, still the damn dock icons have the red bars.

I discovered from Parallels that there is no way to remove the unsightly red lines. We are stuck with them. But they noted my suggestion that in a future update they may, and I stress may, include the option to have the icons show without the red lines. I hate them so much I'm taken to having the dock hidden and am happy with that.
