I would like to add two (virtual) harddrives to my setup. These need to be called F: and G: . If I add drives from the Parallels menu, I end up with drives named Z: and Y:.

How can I change the root names for my drives to F: and G:?

    Thanks

    Eric

For virtual or Boot Camp drives:

Right click "My Computer" -> "Manage" -> "Disk Management".
Right click the partition you want to change -> "Change Drive Letter and Paths...".
Click the drive letter you want to change -> "Change..." -> "Assign the following drive letter:".
Select the new drive letter -> "OK" -> "Yes".

The process is different for shared folders.
