I have several issues with Windows 7 Home Premium under Parallels 5, so I thought I'd throw them out there in a list and see if anybody has the same problems or advice on fixing the problems. And FYI, I did a forum search but could not find anything specific to these questions/problems:

    1) While running several different games ranging from older to newer (Max Payne 2, America's Army 3, Trine), the audio will abruptly cut out for no apparent reason. The only way I can get audio back in game is to quit the game and restart the virtual machine. However, before restarting the VM, audio will still work for Windows 7 itself (system sounds and such) and of course, in the host OS (Mac OS X 10.6.3). And the time it takes for the audio to cut out is very random. Some times it will only take 10 minutes, and other times it will take a few hours to occur. Is there a way to fix this, or is it a known bug?

This is hands down my biggest annoyance with Parallels 5 so far.

    2) Video option availability is not consistent across all games. For instance, I can enable the anti-aliasing option in Trine, but I can't enable that same option in Max Payne 2. Is that just a game compatibility issue?

    3) Also, is any version of Pixel Shader supported through Parallels 5? I had to disable that feature in Max Payne 2 because leaving it on causing the shadows on in-game characters to look blocky and cartoony and generally bad.

    4) Finally, I noticed in the video options I can only increase the video memory to 256mb, regardless of that fact that I have a 512mb video card (NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M). What is the reason for that? A technical limitation?

Thanks for answers you guys can give me!

    Update

UPDATE: I added my system specs into my forum signature. Hopefully that will help with solving my issues.
    Thanks!
