I have a MacBook Pro (running OS-X 10.5.8) with Parallels Desktop 4.0 for Mac (Build 4.0.3846) and Windows XP.

Unfortunately I have a Windows-only application that has to be used for work when I am traveling, hence XP.

I have the Mode set as Bridged Networking, since this appeared to be needed for my app & its home to communicate with one another.

I have successfully accessed the Internet from Windows (testing the connection with Firefox, prior to doing a Synch with the app) in a variety of locations with wi-fi (my home, motels, coffee shops).

However, Windows will not access the Internet through my Verizon Mifi 2200, even though Internet access on the Apple side of things is working perfectly through its wireless connection to the Mifi.

Since the only setting that has been changed on the Apple side is the network name to which the computer is connected, and nothing has been changed on the Windows side, this does not make sense to me.

    Help, please.

    I couldn't get Windows 7 to find a Verizon wi-fi hotspot using Parallels 5.
Verizon tech support thinks it might be that Airport being turned on interferes
with the built-in wi-fi card in my new MacBook Pro (10.6.3)

Verizon also said that they'll have Mac OS X software by the end of June
