Deleting VM that OS is currently on and creating a new VM

Will it create an identical VM cause I am wondering if I may run into windows activation problems?

 

If your new VM has the same virtual hardware as your old one this shouldn't happen; however, take care you copy the virtual network card's MAC address from the old machine and use it in the new one.
