    Hi,

I'm relatively new to Parallels Desktop and I was wondering how I rename a Parallels Virtual Machine? Renaming the file seems not everything you need to do?

What I really want to accomplish is the following:

    1) I installed a clean Windows 7 Virtual Machine that I now want to archive as "Windows 7 Clean"
    2) Then install Office 2010 and archive that one as "Windows 7 with Office 2010"
    3) Then install Visual Studio 2010 and SQL Server 2008 R2 and archive that one as "Windows 7 Development".

That way I can easily throw away any of the Virtual Machines and just put the archived one back. I regularly need to build demo machines with custom software on them when I give presentations and when the presentation is over I just throw the demo machine away and put the archived one back.

    Thanks

    Jurgen

The VM's name can be changed from the "Configure..." menu.
