I would like for Parallels to start at bootup of the Mac and without the need to login to the Mac. The virtual machine is Wondows. In essense run itself as a service under either root or some other admin account.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks

I guess if you set your VM to start as Parallels is started, and you define Parallels to be a startup item, it should work - if you have an auto-login account on the Mac.

I was hoping to avoid any type of login so Parallels could run as a service just like a Apache or Mysql.

    Thanks

Ah - headless. Not sure if that works with PD. Maybe there's another Parallels product that would allow this.
