Hi there, and thank you for taking your time to read this!
I have two separate terabyte hard drives installed into different bays on my Mac Pro. Right now I am on my Mac OS X HDD and I'm trying to get a new VM to access my Boot Camp partition which isn't really a partition at all. It's a completely different HDD formatted NTFS with Windows 7 and Boot Camp. However, it's not external mind you.
I am unable to start a new VM that accesses this drive because of what I believe are "permissions." I keep hearing you should be able to use Parallels with an NTFS format, but if the drive is read only, how is this possible???
I hope to god someone can help me get this working!
I use my Mac for work and Windows for play, but if I could combine them together... yesss....

While this may not directly help you (I have no clue whether or how Parallels deals with "real" NTFS disks), there is MacFuse which will help the Mac OS (and thus Parallels) read and write NTFS disks.
