Hi there, I have a big problem with my VM. I have Parallels Desktop 4.0 on Snow Leopard and Win XP as guest OS. Since today, my HDD is currently running out of memory. I deleted a lot of files and started my VM, after the Error message. I had 17 gigs of free memory. Then I tried to start defragmentation, and after a view seconds, the Error message came again, and said there were only 400 mbs of free space. When I deleted some more files, the VM ran again, but when I started a program, the Error occurred again. Please Help, I have no idea what is going wrong... Thanks a lot! Jogi
Hi Joachim, are you on a fixed size or an expanding VM disk? Or is this a BootCamp partition? From 17 GB to 400 MB in a few seconds sounds scary... What happens if you disconnect the VM from the net (and isolate it from the Mac by turning off all sharing options) - does the hard disk still fill up that quickly?
