Last night, I was doing my homework (in Windows 7 on Visual Basic 2008) on a 24" iMac, when the power kicked out and the computer instantly shut down i was able to reboot and load all my projects with the initial screen telling me that windows didn't shutdown properly and what not. I clicked boot normally and everything was good, an hour or so later i was done and shut down everything properly. The next morning i got up to print the project and windows wont start! Parallels starts as usual but when the little timer counts down with the wheel around it stays at 60 for a while then just boots a black screen. Other info is that I started the partition fresh no bootcamp. PLEASE HELP i need to turn in my project and i don't know what i going in my comp.
De-install Parallels (it will ask you whether you want to keep your VM files, say "yes"), reboot the Mac, re-install Parallels. If any Parallels file was broken during your crash it will be removed and overwritten by the deinstall / reinstall.
Great I will give it a try i wasn't sure if it would lose all my files or not though. Thanks for clarifying.
