I recently upgraded to Parallels 5.0.9310.546799 after not using Parallels for a couple of years. Everything has gone fine, except that when Parallels comes up it lists two virtual machines: Windows XP & WinXP.

I seem to remember creating the WinXP machine years ago, and the Windows XP machine is the one I'm currently using.

    A couple of questions:

    1. How do I delete the older WinXP machine without adversely affecting the Windows XP machine?

    2. How do I recover all the hard disk space that WinXP has been using - it has numerous programs I downloaded to it.

    Thanks for any assistance.

    Hi B.J,
to remove VM you do not need any more, right-click its name in Virtual Machines list and select Remove option > Move to Trash. After you will empty Trash, all your disk space is free.
By the way, make sure to update to latest Parallels Desktop 5 build 9344 (update is free).
