Beginner question....

    I did some searching on the site, but couldn't find the info I'm looking for, so please forgive the "beginner" question! I have a Macbook Pro with a bootcamp partition already set up. I am finding I need to go there more and more and don't like having to reboot each time. I am thinking about purchasing Parallels Desktop 5 for Mac, but am wondering if I need to remove my bootcamp partition, or can I just install Parallels with my existing partition. Can't find any specific info on the set up for this. Again, please excuse the novice question! Thanks for your help!

    Hi jedd33d,
    very reasonable question. You can install Parallels Desktop 5 on your Mac, create new virtual machine and point it to existing Boot Camp partition. Please check this documentation link.
    Please note that you can download Parallels Desktop 5 and use it for 14 days on trial basis to evaluate the product:
