I'm about ready to flush this Parallels POS! I've built the VM now the install guide tells me to go to the "Devices" menu and choose the "Default CD/DVD-ROM". Problem is the entire Devices menu is "greyed out"! You cannot choose anything from the menu!? Where did I go wrong? Please help!!!
sAME HERE I just bought this software yesterday, try last night till mid night 3am, I still cannot figure out what wrong. It is not grey out, it hang up my Mac when I press" Power On" button, then and ask me to restart. I have tried several time.....any solution, or what goes wrong?
Dear ssahling and gomus sorry to hear about your difficulty.. I had to install and reinstall (including VM) about 10 to 12 times (took me 4 days) to correct some of the issues that i had... so far I feel 3106 is best version for me. please make sure to delete the parallels folder in your user folder in OSX and uninstall the parallels before you do the 3106 (do the reboot after uninstall and make sure to unmount the CD-DRIVE, it should be done automatically by parallels installation routin but sometime it does not).. also chose typical install instead of express install (of guest os that is)... that fixed a lot of my issues... good luck to both of you...
