    Greetings all,

First all thank you all for your continued feedback and support on VM2Go. I am taking your suggestions and creating an interesting list for the next major release.

I wanted to let everyone know that the program has an official home now. You can find it at http://www.britemac.com.

I have released a new version that features a new program icon. The truck icon is now gone! I have fixed two UI visual bugs where the disk space used was not properly showing in the backup tab and another bug having to do with a virtual machine being selected on the transfer screen and incorrectly shown on the backup tab.

So please come and take a look and as always keep the feedback coming.

You can send your questions and comments to [email protected]

    Thanks!

PS: Clalron is the name of my old EverQuest character :)

Is there any particular reason why this post is here? Does this product relate in any way to Parallels?

    Yes absolutely...

This product is really not for the hard core "I know where everything is stored" Parallels user. It is for the general user who wants to do a couple of very useful things with their virtual machines.

    With VM2Go you can:

    - Transfer your virtual machine (and related virtual hard disks) to an iPod so you can take your PC with you. You can also use any other removable media.
    - You can backup a virtual machine to a DVD-R/DVD-DL or CD-R. This is handy if you want to keep a clean Windows XP VM around.
    - You can restore the virtual machine as well.
    - You can see how much real disk space your virtual machine is taking up on your Mac hard drive.
    - You can delete VM and their related files.
    - You can start a VM as well.
    - Using Spotlight technology it will find all of the VMs on your system.

    Thanks for asking. :)
