    First, here is my setup:

    15" MacBook Pro
    2.0 ghz Intel Duo Core
    1 GB Memory
    100 GB Hard Drive

    Parallels Desktop for Mac
    Windows XP Pro

I just got this product so I am new to it. I just installed the video game Command and Conquer Generals, which is a couple of years old. The install works just fine and it even auto runs when the cd is inserted, but when I hit "play", it tells me to "insert the correct cd and try again" I know that it is the right cd. Is there something I can do to fix this or is it just incompatible with parallels and should install Boot Camp?

    Thanks,
    Eric

You're expecting an answer in an hour? We're all volunteers here, and speaking just for myself, I have a life and don't sit monitoring this forum just so I can answer questions. Patience is a virtue.

In the latest release, build 1970, CD support is limited to normal reading. The extra stuff that copy protection schemes use isn't supported. Support in the latest beta is better, but it's beta and there's no support available except from users who've had and solved your problem. That wouldn't include me since I'm way to busy to play video games.

My guess is that it won't work and bootcamp would be a better choice for gaming.
